I found myself as a stray last summer but my friends at Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary scooped me up, took me to the vet for a check-up, and found me a new home.

Happy ending, right?? For several months, my life was picture perfect with my loving guardians; however, circumstances intervened and I returned to FLPS.

Hi Friends! It’s me Baxter! I am a 10-year-old, 32-pound Cairn Terrier mix and I'm on the hunt for my forever home.

My former family reported I am a “perfect dog” who loves belly rubs and evening walks.

So here we are…I’m currently lounging in a foster home while they make all sorts of observations.

Some highlights my foster reported include: I especially like attention and bond very quickly to my people. However, I’m not a demanding sort, I just want some pats on the head then I’m happy to lay quietly beside you.

I’ve lived with cats and easily assimilate with quiet dogs. If a friendly dog gets a little too nosy, I’ll give him a little verbal reminder then all is good.

It’s important to me that my new home be on the quiet side, with guardians that project calm energy.

I’m also reliably housetrained, am a low shedder, and sleep soundly through the whole night.
