Chico

Chico, a quirky 13yo Chihuahua, came to us after living outside his whole life. We witnessed him seizing at our sanctuary, and he has been diagnosed with a severe heart murmur. This lucky boy has found a patient hospice home to love him despite his quirks.

Audy

Audy is a super sweet 12-year-old Chihuahua. Xray and a full exam discovered a significant heart murmur, enlarged heart, and significant arthritis due to prior front leg breaks that never healed correctly. Audy's spirit is strong, and enjoys each day to the fullest in his hospice foster home.

Dylan

Dylan is an 11-year-old Beagle/Hound mix with a gentle soul. Despite her bilateral 5/6 heart murmur and enlarged heart with fissure lines, she enjoys gentle activities like playing in the yard & short walks. She is in a hospice foster home, receiving comfort and care for her condition.

Lacy

Sponsored by Joanne Akers. At 11 y/o, this Chihuahua/Pug mix came to us quite shut down, but her personality is now starting to shine! She has a severe tracheal issue that's managed with medication by her foster family.

Rusty

Sponsored by the Duntemann Family. At 14+ yrs old, Rusty came to us when his owner passed away. Rusty was a nervous wreck, but now he's very happy in a safe, quiet home, & he coming out of his shell!

Isabella Donna

15-yr-old Isabella Donna came to us as an owner surrender. She has a significant heart murmur, low thyroid, and is slow to warm up to people. Happily, she's getting much love in her hospice foster home!

Casey

Sponsored by Derrick & Tracyann Mains. Casey was an injured stray at Arizona Humane Society. Casey has a great temperament. She has some lameness in her hind end, but with meds and a loving foster home, she does great!

Kirby

Sponsored by Tracyann Mains. Kirby is a 12yo, 5 lb poodle who came in as a stray at MCACC, with a heart murmur on both sides and severe cataracts in both eyes. But, he lives for attention and is the perfect cuddle buddy.

Chestnut

Chestnut is a 12yo Chihuahua whose ears make us believe he's part rabbit. X-rays & ultrasounds revealed that his liver and spleen are filled with tumors, and there's fluid in his belly — widespread cancer is suspected. He's getting the best care & companionship in his hospice foster home.
