Volunteer opportunities

Volunteer requirements

• At least 12 years of age*
• Provide 8 hours/month of service for at least 6 months
• Commit to scheduled volunteer times
• Possess strong customer service skills**
• Be able to squat, bend, twist, lift, or stand for long periods

*If you are age 16 or under, you must have a parent/legal guardian accompany you at all times while volunteering. This parent/legal guardian must ALSO fill out a volunteer application.

**This is a plus to have, but not a requirement. Some volunteer areas, such as dog walking, do not require public interaction. In other volunteer roles, you may work directly with the public and other volunteers.
