Chico

Chico is a little guy with a big heart! This 7-year-old, 16 lb Chihuahua may have had a rough start, but thanks to some kind humans, he's ready for his second chance. At first, he was a little shaky (literally), but never anything but sweet. Now, in his foster home, he's settling in like a champ—house-trained, doggy door savvy, and a top-tier snuggler.

Chico is a ladies’ man who takes a little longer to warm up to guys, but some tasty treats (chicken, anyone?) will fast-track his trust. He greets his foster mom with tail wags every time she walks into the room and is happiest curled up right next to you.

He’s cool with other dogs but would be just as content as your one and only. Chico also prefers a quiet environment—he’s not really a “dog about town” kind of guy, and that’s okay! He’s more about cozy nights in than bustling patios or busy walks.
