Lucy

Hi!  My name is Lucy and I am a gorgeous 6 year old French Bulldog weighing in at 21lbs.

If you can believe this, I ended up at the pound, probably because I was done birthing too many litters and having some significant skin issues that weren’t being taken care of.

Looking back, I now know that this was the best-day-ever because I have undergone this amazing transformation filled with love and great care.  I have this beautiful blue Merle coat color and a streak of blue in my expressive eyes.

I have been blessed to live in a wonderful foster home where my foster mom has gotten to know me (and love me) very well.

I am now house trained, and occasionally use the indoor potty pads by the door if I’m not let out (but I always poop outside) and actually a doggy door might be rather nice!

I am active and energetic, and I love to go places; either for a walk or in the car.  I have met all kinds of strangers and children, big dogs, and everyone is smitten by my beauty and friendliness.

Good diet, holistic baths with after-rubs, and some medications have returned my skin back to health.   I may need medication for a while to come, but my foster mom can fill you in on all that.

I'm fun, I’m funny, and I’m quite entertaining - you better watch your plate of food, because I love to try and help myself!  I love yummy treats, including bananas and peanut butter and I think it’s fun to eat out of a puzzle dish.  I even enjoy my special 2x a week baths.
