Monty

Hello, my name is Monty and I came to Forever Loved and, boy am I glad I did!  I was originally brought to the county pound as a stray, but I was sick, so Forever Loved provided me with the expert medical attention that I really needed! Stress and pneumonia are no fun for a little darling like me and I have made a full recovery, including showing my foster mom what a fun-loving delightful dog I really am!  I am 11 years young, I weigh 9.4lbs (and am gaining weight) and I am a Chihuahua mix.  I am house trained, I am great living with other dogs, and I love playing with toys!  I’m snuggly, I’m good on the leash, but really, because of a slight heart murmur, I don’t need any vigorous walks or exercise anyway.  I do like going for walks in a buggy, though!  Kids scare me, but respectful older children will be fine.  I love yummy treats, and am very gentle taking them. I’m quiet and well-behaved in my foster home and she has only good things to say about me.  Maybe I’m a tiny bit shy at first, but I blossom in the right environment.  Won’t you apply to meet me?
