Hello, my name is Monty, and let me tell you—I’m so glad I ended up at Forever Loved! I came to the county pound as a sick little stray, but thanks to some expert care (and a whole lot of love), I’ve made a full recovery. Now I’m living the good life and showing my foster mom just how sweet and playful I can be!

I’m 11 years young, a petite 10 lbs (and putting on some healthy weight), and a proud Chihuahua mix. I’m house trained, toy-obsessed, and great with other dogs. I walk nicely on leash, though I don’t need much exercise—just a slow stroll or a fancy ride in a buggy suits me just fine, thanks to a mild heart murmur.

Now, here’s the important bit: I’m a sensitive soul who really thrives in a quiet, calm home. Loud noises and busy energy stress me out. I’m not the kind of pup who runs up to say hi right away—but give me a little space and kindness, and I’ll be your most loyal little buddy.
