Earl

Hello there.  I’m Earl, a quiet and distinguished gentleman of around 10 years. I am a 40 lb Lab/Terrier mix.  If there’s ever been a time in my life when I needed a soft place to land, it’s now, and Forever Loved has provided just that. Life hasn't always been easy for me, but I'm discovering that love and comfort go hand in hand. In my foster home, I've found joy in affection and the simple pleasures: a plush bed to relax on, the freedom of a doggie door, and the playful delight of rolling in the grass, which always brings a smile to my foster mom's face.

Initially reserved, I'm a gentle soul who values patience, kindness, and good food. While I'm not particularly cuddly or needy, I do appreciate the companionship of other friendly dogs, cats, and humans of all ages. Housebroken and with good vision (though my hearing isn't what it once was), I may require a bit of time to acclimate to new environments and daily routines. I also manage well when left alone. I'm starting to understand the feeling of being cherished, and it's truly uplifting.  I am house trained, know my basic commands, and all around, I’m just a great house dog.  

Once I feel secure in my new home, I'll enjoy leisurely walks when the weather is nice. I do have a bit of arthritis, so no vigorous runs and hikes for me!  I'm seeking a forever home where I can continue to enjoy love and the finer things in life.
