Tulip

Tulip was rescued from Maricopa County Animal Control who found her as a stray.

Our sweet girl had such a close call. She ended up at MCACC where staff decided she was not an adoption candidate.

Tulip is a 10 year old, 12 pound Miniature Pinscher mix who came to us underweight, with terrible teeth, and concerning kidney values. Well, fast forward to now, she’s gaining weight and all those infected, painful teeth are fixed up.

We’ve also devised a plan to manage her chronic kidney disease. Her special food will be slightly more expensive than regular dog food, but hey…Tulip’s worth it! Our adoption team will share all pertinent medical records with her new family so everyone understands her needs.

She’s energetic and loves attention, likes walks and can jump like a gazelle. Tulip is currently housed with another dog and seems to enjoy the company.

Her perfect home will be with a family that can continue to help her gain weight in a healthy way, provide daily exercise to help her build strength, but most importantly, shower her with all the love in the world. She deserves it!
