She was found as a stray, and we are in awe that she was able to fend for herself. She’s 14, had a matted coat that pulled on her skin, and is blind from untreated dry eye and glaucoma.

Our sweet little August has beaten all the odds. She’s a 7-pound Poodle powerhouse.

To add to her challenges, she developed a severe vestibular episode (it’s like constant motion sickness).

August had her eye removed to prevent chronic pain and is recovering from the vestibular episode.

We were concerned for her future, but she proved to be a real fighter. August deserves to have the best last chapter. She’s the epitome of resilience.

August needs a hero to give her the love and care she didn’t receive in her previous home.

She’s living with other dogs in her foster home, loves to be outside, and is as sweet as can be.
