Tomas & Mia

We came to the shelter in Yuma after one of our owners died, and the other owner was evicted from where we lived.

Hello from both of us!!! We are Tomas (brown darling) and Mia (white darling) and we weigh in at 5.5 lbs and 5 lbs respectively.

Tomas is 11 years old, Mia is 12, and we’ve been together as a bonded pair for most of our lives.

Being uprooted from our home was a sad circumstances for all of us, but we are making the transition very well, thanks to Forever Loved taking us in, and the wonderful foster home we landed in!  

We say “landed” in, because both of us have some vision loss, with Mia probably not being able to see anything!  We go where we are “towed.” (Wink wink)

We learn to navigate our world quickly when given a predictable layout, your spoken words to lead us to you, and we are both so light-weight, why not just pick us up and carry us!  We love to be carried around in a doggy sling.

We get along great with other dogs, we potty outside when you take us out, and we are quiet and calm little snuggle bugs.

We’ve had thorough vet exams and dentals, and Forever Loved will happily report the vet’s findings to you.

It would be a crime to split us up, so plan on having twice the snuggles, twice the cuteness, and twice the love!
