Leo

Hi! My name is Leo and I am so happy you are checking me out.  Aren’t I a darling boy? I am 10 years old and I am a Cocker Spaniel weighing in at 32lbs.

I am a gem, but first I need to tell you why I’m here at Forever Loved, looking for another home.  It seems that when toddlers came into my home, I wasn’t too happy. Toddlers can be grabby, noisy weird little creatures, and I’d prefer to live without them, thank you very much.

I am reliably house trained and even though I know how to use a doggy door, I like to scratch at the door so you will come in or out with me.

Toy play is so much fun for me and if you say “where’s your tennis ball?” I will happily go find it so we can play.

I like to carry around my stuffy toys, but sometimes you might find a bit of “de-fuzzing” going on.

I am not destructive when left alone, and I am so good with other dogs.

I love meeting all kinds of new people and I am very good on the leash.

I don’t have a tail, but my back end will certainly wiggle to let you know how happy I am to see you.

If you let me, I will sleep in bed with you and snuggle all night long, but if that’s not ok, I will sleep peacefully in my own bed.

I know my basic cues, like sit and stay, and I ride well in a car.  I’m a perfect housemate; being quiet, gentle, and affectionate, so what’s not to love?
