Deuce found himself at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control as a stray with a microchip that was never registered. That stinks for him. PSA: Please be sure that your pet’s microchip is updated. Your animal cannot be returned to your if your information is not on the chip or inaccurate.
Fast forward a few months, and Deuce became a national celebrity! He competed in Animal Planet’s Dog Bowl II on 2/2/19. Deuce was a supreme travel companion, calmly riding in airplanes and subways, exploring New York City, and just soaking it all in. We are in awe of this guy!
An 11-year-old Plott Hound mix, Deuce was with us and his foster mom for many months. He has tons of energy and life and is a a super smart boy who does well with other dogs.
Just a few weeks after his Dog Bowl appearance, he was adopted by an Arizona family!
