If you're reading this, you probably have a passion and a love for animals like we do. There are many worthy animal shelters in the Phoenix area alone, and Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary is one of the only ones that specifically takes care of of senior animals, who are often overlooked at other shelters and are more likely to be euthanized. We are a 501c3 – a nonprofit comprised of an all volunteer staff.
Of course, this is a personal choice. As you know your finances better than anyone, you should donate as much as you want as long as you can afford it. Even as little as $5 can help an animal in need. Here's how your donations have helped specific dogs over the years:
Absolutely! Like people, animals have many needs besides money. As we are an all-volunteer organization, our animals appreciate food donations, treats, and pet beds, just to name a few items. Here is a link to our wish list.
The answers are yes and yes. The animals we take in may be going through a rough time, and we try to make their accommodations as comfortable as possible in a shelter situation. Plus, couches are also comfortable for our volunteers to hang out in while spending quality time with the dogs. The more comfortable we can make our volunteers, the longer they hang out.
