About Holly

Holly came to Maricopa County Animal Care and Control as a stray. She is a 7-year-old Siberian husky/sharpei mix. She is a sweet girl who knows her basic doggie manners and picks them up very quickly.

She rides well in the car and has an amazing personality and smile. She is such a lover and thinks she’s a lapdog at 70 lbs!

On her day field trips with volunteers, we hear she greets all new people nicely and while at a place of business, she’ll relax, lay down, and chew on a bully stick to keep herself entertained. She spent the day at the local Scottsdale Airport with a volunteer — and even loud planes didn’t bother her. All she was worried about was giving kisses to everyone she met.

Holly still has quite a bit of energy at 7 years old, so we suggest that she go to a home with older children as she might knock smaller children down. Holly typically does well with other dogs, but can be overly excited to play.
