Adopt A Pet

Many people automatically think of a puppy when they think of adopting a dog. But puppies demand patience and energy. Older dogs, however, can be as cute and lovable as puppies, and they often come with many wonderful qualities that puppies take years to grow into. They know, for example, that shoes are for walking and bones are for chewing, how to use a doggie door, and are housetrained.

Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary [FLPS] is dedicated to matching our rescued senior animals with loving families to provide a meaningful and caring second chance at life that they so deserve. By choosing to adopt one or more of our senior animals, we can continue to provide a safe haven and take the burden of temporary care and housing of these discarded seniors off of local shelters.

FLPS has a fluctuating list of sweet senior dogs [and soon-to-be-cats] available for adoption. Please check our website for updates. Every senior animal in our adoption program has received a medical examination, spay or neuter surgery [if not previously completed], vaccinations, lots of daily love and care, and a microchip. We ask for an adoption donation of between $100-200 to help cover some of the rescue and medical expenses and perform pre and/or post adoption home checks.

FLPS was created to make a serious and positive impact on the lives of senior animals and if you’re considering the adoption of one of our sweet seniors feel free to print out an Animal Adoption Application and email to us at so that we can set up a time to do a meet and greet with you and the senior of your choice or complete an Online Adoption Application.

NOTE: Should your home not be compatible for the senior dog or cat that you chose, we mandate that the dog is returned to us immediately.

Thank you for taking the time to look at our available seniors animals.

Please read the application, fill in the blanks, and submit the application so that our staff may review it. The information that you provide in this application and during our meet and greet will help us insure that your senior animal of choice is a good match for you.
